Friends, family and well wishers have asked how they can help me with my first major Dakar challenge to raise over £25,000. (the minimum budget required)
I have devised a £1 per kilometre sponsorship plan, so anyone can pledge anything from £1 upwards. (ie. £1 = 1km, £50 = 50 kms, £100 = 100 kms)
EVERY KILOMETRE COUNTS !
At present the exact mileage per day has not been released but the total kilometres will be approx 9,000. We have calculated on average the rally will be 643 kilometres per day for the 14 full race days.
I would very honoured to receive any contribution and I will add your name and message to the list below and hopefully by January 1st 2010 every kilometre will be counted for and you will be able to track my progress each day 'LIVE' during the race at www.dakar.com
